PhD. Maybe.

Received a letter from the University of Newcastle saying I have 'provisional' acceptance into a PhD (Philosophy) in 2006! The 'provisional' bit takes a bit of the fun out of it, it means that I will have to have finished honours to a 'satisfactory' extent and have a citizenship check to enrol. Hopefully I can pass muster on both. It can't be a bad sign though. Someone must have liked my research proposal.
